At Countywide, you’re definitely not a customer.

The field of membership of Countywide Federal Credit Union shall be limited to those individuals who live , work or worship in Greene or Montgomery Counties in Ohio.

Once a person is a member, they will remain a member until their account is closed.  Each member's immediate family (mother, father, brother, sister, children) is eligible to join.

Countywide Federal Credit Union was started with a simple pledge:
The needs of our members must always come first.

From the beginning, people saw Countywide as a place where they could do business with folks they knew or had something in common with, Folks they knew or had something in common with, a place to pool their money, get good savings rates, lend to one another, and have access to a range of basic financial services.

People around here wanted a comfortable alternative to a mass-production bank. Today, that is clearly what we continue to be.

At countywide, you won’t find those gimmicky come-on rates, the ones that go up later and leave you stuck with a much higher payment than you budgeted.

Here, our constant concern for doing what’s best for you is unmistakably human. That’s why your character is as important to us as your income.

At Countywide, we do business the right way because, as members, you own us. That means your needs come first. After all, it’s your money and your credit union.

As an owner, you decide who sits on the Board of Directors. They’re people who you know and see at work, in town, and around your neighborhood.

As your management and staff, it is our promise and our mission to continue working hard to make your financial dreams a reality … as long as you won’t miss the free toasters, of course.

Over the years since countywide was started, the people we serve have been good to us.

So in 1993, we were able to move into a comfortable new headquarters building, located on farmland between Xenia and Beavercreek.

Today, we operate by the same principles that helped us grow, offering a good range of core products and services, and using advanced technology to ensure top quality.

Really, though, our whole story is wrapped up in people who take pride and honest joy in what they do … from patiently answering a complex loan question to teaching a student the basics of money management.
